Glenn Frey Dead At 67
The Eagles' member lost a battle with several health issues on January 18, 2016.

As with David Bowie the week prior, several Eagles albums have either flown up or re-entered the Billboard 200 chart following the death of founding member Glenn Frey on January 18. Not surprisingly, leading the pack is the band’s first collection of singles, Their Greatest Hits (1971 – 1975), which was originally released in February 1976, and to-date has been certified 29 times Platinum. It jumps a whopping 102 positions to #11 on the album chart.

In fact, the bulk of the Eagles albums making re-entries this week are compilations, save for 1976 studio LP Hotel California and 1994’s Hell Freezes Over, a live album that contained four new tracks at the time of release. Likewise, Frey’s Solo Collection re-appears at #82.

Last week 10 David Bowie albums either made their debut on or re-entered the Billboard 200 following the English musician’s death on January 10.

Below is the full list of the Glenn Frey-related entries on this week’s main album chart:

11. Eagles, Their Greatest Hits (1971 – 1975)
28. Eagles, The Very Best Of The Eagles
82. Glenn Frey, Solo Collection
95. Eagles, Hell Freezes Over
112. Eagles, Greatest Hits: Volume 2
171. Eagles, Hotel California
