Troye Sivan Interview
Troye Sivan talks his debut LP, moving video trilogy and being an out pop star.

The ascent of Troye Sivan continues with a winning performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (January 28). The Australian singer/songwriter belted out rising hit “Youth” with a full band and the neon lighting that accompanied his live dates in late 2015. His casual, low-key approach won over the audience and it didn’t take long for them to sing (and bop) along to the rousing anthem. Expect the track to song iTunes rapidly after this performance.

“Youth” is the official lead single from Troye’s debut LP Blue Neighbourhood, which was released in early December. It is already top 40 on pop radio and looks set to crack the Billboard Hot 100 in the weeks to come. (The Leland/Allie X co-write is sitting at number 19 on the Bubbling Under chart). The 20-year-old’s first major North American tour kicks off on February 3 in Vancouver. See all the dates here.
