Rihanna's 'ANTI': Track-By-Track Review
We break down Rihanna's polarizing 8th LP.

Tonight (January 30) Drake premiered a new song during the 14th episode of Beats 1’s OVO Sound Radio, where he and label signee Majid Jordan co-hosted. Titled “Summer Sixteen,” the subliminal-laden track finds the Toronto native seeking revenge.

Over the hazy yet chilled production (courtesy of Boi-1da, Noah “40” Shebib and CuBeat), Drizzy casually unleashes a set of lines (“I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay,” “How they let me run it down here?/ I’m not even from around here” and “Now I got a bigger pool than Ye, and, look, man, Ye’s pool is nice/ Mine is just bigger that’s all I’m saying”) that at first listen wouldn’t sound like targeted shots due to his nonchalant flow. But here’s the bottom line: Drake is fed up with these rappers and is ready to take over with his upcoming project.

If that wasn’t enough, the artist began his radio set by playing “I’m So High” by Max B — a rapper who trended “wavy” music (a slick move in reference to both Kanye West‘s WAVES and ‘Ye’s recent Twitter beef with Wiz Khalifa).

Save for snagging a few Grammy nods and hopping on Rihanna‘s “Work” single, Drake has kept mum when it comes to his own music. But after premiering his new track, he proceeded to give an update on when Views From The 6 will arrive — fans can look out for it in April 2016 (a nod to Toronto’s 416 area code). No word if “Summer Sixteen” will appear on the album.
