Rihanna Added To 2016 BRIT Awards Performance Lineup
Rihanna is kicking her ANTI promotion run into full gear, as she is now added as one of the performers for this year’s BRIT Awards! The singer will join previously-announced acts like Adele, Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, James Bay, The Weeknd, Little Mix and more.
This won’t be the first time Rihanna will be gracing the BRITs stage. She performed “Umbrella” in 2008 alongside The Klaxons, a Loud medley in 2011 and 2012 with “We Found Love.” The popstress was also meant to be at the show last year, but was inexplicably replaced with Kanye West — who fired up the stage with “All Day.”
Adele stacked up four nominations for the ceremony, including British Album of the Year for 25. Years and Years, Amy Winehouse and Calvin Harris also scored nods. Like the Grammys, the show will organize a special tribute for David Bowie. Look out for the 2016 BRIT Awards live from London’s O2 Arena on February 24. See their official tweet announcement below.
