Lil Wayne Is “Movin’ On Up” In New Super Bowl Commercial: Watch
Lil Wayne is movin’ on up — well, kind of. The rapper stars in a Super Bowl commercial for Apartments.com, which also features Jeff Goldblum.
The actor plays “Silicon Valley Maverick” Brad Bellflower, as he performs The Jeffersons theme song on a grand piano while literally moving on up a high-rise building. When he reaches the top, Goldblum spots “George & “Weezie” (aka George Washington and Lil Wayne) cooking — what else? — burgers, beans and Weezy’s signature apple pie.
Just yesterday, Drake teamed up with T-Mobile for a “Hotline Bling” spoof. So who knows, maybe Nicki Minaj will drop a Super Bowl commercial to complete the Young Money trilogy!
