Carly Rae Jepsen appears in a new Funny or Die video performing for change on the Third Street Promenade, a popular site for buskers in the L.A. area. She belts out acoustic street versions of “Call Me Maybe” and “I Really Like You,” and several passersby realize it’s really her — though not nearly as many as you’d hope.

Her haul for the afternoon was a measly 35 bucks, which would be funny if it weren’t so plausible, since we live in a sick and twisted world where nobody wants to buy one of the best pop albums of the 2010s.
