Rihanna's 'ANTI': Track-By-Track Review
We break down Rihanna's polarizing 8th LP.

Rihanna‘s ANTI makes a 26-position leap to the top of the Billboard 200 in its second chart week of release (and first full week), after moving another 166,000 units and selling 124,000 copies. RiRi now has two #1 albums under her shiny belt, stateside, though her previous one, Unapologetic, sold a far more impressive 238,000 out of the gate. That album, of course, had the benefit of smash lead single “Diamonds” creating a month of buildup before its release, while ANTI‘s lead single “Work” only arrived a day ahead of its parent LP.

ANTI thus knocks Adele‘s 25 off the top of the chart following the latter album’s non-consecutive eight-week reign, though 25 now has the distinction of having sold a staggering 8.03 million copies since its release only two-and-a-half months ago.

The week’s new entries in the Top 10: Kevin Gates‘ debut album Islah at #2 (93,000 sold), Sia‘s set of rejected tunes This Is Acting at #4 (68,000) and Charlie Puth‘s first album Nine Track Mind at #6 (47,000).
