Following her stunning rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Sunday’s Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, Lady Gaga and songwriter Diane Warren attended the 88th Annual Academy Awards nominee luncheon on Monday (February 8) in Beverly Hills. Both penned “Til It Happens to You” from the documentary The Hunting Ground, which is up for a Best Original Song Oscar this year alongside The Weeknd’s “Earned It” from Fifty Shades of Grey, Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” from Spectre, J. Ralph and Antony’s “Manta Ray” from Racing Extinction and David Lang’s “Simple Song No. 3″ from Youth.

This of course isn’t Diane’s first time at the rodeo as far as the Academy Awards go. “Til It Happens To You” marks the eighth time she’s been nominated for Best Original Song — a stretch that goes all the way back to 1987’s Starship hit “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” which Warren co-wrote with Albert Hammond and appeared in fantasy-comedy flick Mannequin. This would, however, mark the first time she’s won, if the Oscar gods allow it.
