Bey Hive, Get In Formation: Anti-Beyoncé Protest Planned For NFL Headquarters In New York City

An anti-Beyoncé protest is planned for New York City in the wake of her “Formation” performance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. An anonymous organizer has planned a rally to be held in front of the NFL’s headquarters on February 16 to protest Bey’s “race-baiting stunt” at the big game and “tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again.”

Beyoncé’s performance of her new black pride anthem “Formation” was sprinkled with some Black Panther allusions, and old white curmudgeons like Rudy Giuliani of course couldn’t resist making it somehow about the police. The anonymous organizers of the event echo Giuliani’s hot take, calling the halftime show “a slap in the face to law enforcement.”

More details about the protest and how to attend can be found at the event page here. Gee, wouldn’t it be great if the New York chapter of the Bey Hive were to, I dunno, SWARM the page and gobble up a bunch of spots at the protest to troll the trolls? Hive, assemble! [UPDATE: An anti-anti-Beyonce rally has indeed been planned, info here.]
