Sia Enlists Sean Paul For Her “Cheap Thrills” Remix: Watch The Lyric Video
When she’s not lending her voice to animated Netflix series, Sia is continuing her promotional run for This Is Acting Her latest showing is the lyric video for Rihanna reject “Cheap Thrills,” which now has a remix featuring Sean Paul.
Directed by Lior Molcho, the black + white video is a nod to cheesy ’50s TV variety shows like American Bandstand as it features a handful of people (who are donning Sia’s infamous wig) participating in a dance contest. Neither the singer nor Sean Paul make an appearance, but the Jamaican artist’s verse and adlibs highlight the song’s reggae-lite, breezy vibe.
Sia’s This Is Acting LP, which also includes “Bird Set Free,” “Reaper,” “Alive,” “Broken Glass,” “Unstoppable” and “One Million Bullets,” was released on January 29. Watch her “Cheap Thrills” lyric video up top.
