The show was last night's ratings winner, though it didn't fare better than last year.

Here is a handy reminder, as if you needed it: Demi Lovato knows how to rock out. On February 15, just one week after she sang her ballad “Stone Cold” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she came back to help perform Fall Out Boy‘s “Irresistible” remix.

While Demi’s latest album Confident had reintroduced her as a grown-up pop superstar, she could easily have passed for a member of the veteran pop-punk group. (Fun fact: She has even called herself a metalhead.) Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump can be melodramatic, his extra spiteful lyrics dripping with equal parts sarcasm and self-deprecation — though with how she threw herself into singing along, Demi seemed happy to chime in.

Their daytime TV show appearance had perfect timing. Next week Fall Out Boy and AWOLNATION launch their joint Wintour Is Coming tour, while Demi and fellow Safehouse Records label head Nick Jonas hit the road as well. Watch them perform “Irresistible” on Ellen below.
