Kerli Returns With “Feral Hearts”: Listen

It’s been half a hot minute since we last heard from Estonian pop sorceress Kerli, and that could be because she upped roots from Los Angeles in 2015 after seven years of living in the California entertainment mecca and relocated back to her home country.

It turns out the change has done wonders for the 29-year-old diva’s creativity, as evidenced by new single “Feral Hearts.” It’s an atmospheric affair awash with synths and emotion. And Kerli wants to make sure you’re up on the song’s background.

“The art you’re about to experience was made during a year in which I soaked in this magical land’s inspiration by practicing an extremely simple lifestyle by myself in a little forest temple, having not much else with me than my music making tools,” she says in a press release. “I am humbled to share the first piece with the world as these are some of the most honest sounds and visuals I’ve ever created . It is my hope that they bring as much joy to the listener as they have to me while birthing them into reality.”

Give “Feral Hearts” a listen above, ahead of its release on iTunes on February 19.
