FKA twigs returns with her first new material since releasing the phenomenal M3LL155X EP back in August 2015. And “Good To Love” is much more straightforward than anything that appeared on that twitchy, cybersexual collection. It’s a hushed ballad, and it might be the first time that her vocals aren’t really forced to compete with brash production — thus proving to anyone distracted by all the futuristic flourishes that her singing abilities have been at the core of all this output.
She produced the track with Rick Nowels.The black-and-white visual was directed by twigs and Imma, and it shows the British artist writhing around in bed. She also posted the lyrics to the song on Instagram.
