Taylor Swift’s Next Single Is “New Romantics”

Taylor Swift is about to release yet another single from her first proper “pop” album.

“I’m very happy to say the next single from 1989 will be ‘New Romantics,'” she said on social media. That was a bonus track from 1989‘s deluxe edition, where she is all, “We are too busy dancing / to get knocked off our feet.”

“New Romantics” will be the seventh single off 1989, for which Taylor just won a Grammy for Album Of The Year. Five of Taylor’s previous 1989 singles hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 Pop Songs chart: “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Style,” the “Bad Blood” remix featuring Kendrick Lamar and “Wildest Dreams.” Only sixth single “Out of the Woods” missed the Top 10, after peaking at #18.
