With music roots dating back to the 1980s, it seems fitting that New Order‘s latest music video would be an ode to the decade that brought them prominence. The iconic band released the visual for their Music Complete single “Singularity” earlier today, and in the grainy clip, the political turmoil of West Germany is front and center.

Featuring archived footage from the documentary B-Movie: Lust & Sound In West-Berlin 1979-1989, the video is filled with scenes showing citizens rioting and protesting in the years leading up to the eventual fall of the Berlin Wall.
