Beyonce’s New Album Is Reportedly Out April
Beyonce is about ready to cause even more conversation — that is, if music industry insiders are to be believed. According to Hits Daily Double, Beyonce will release her follow-up to 2014’s self-titled in April. This would be her final release on Sony’s Columbia Records, as she preps to ink another multi-album deal with the parent label.
That might not even be Bey’s only release this year. A joint album with rap mogul husband Jay Z — as in, the same project that was first reported in 2014 and confirmed by producer Detail the following year — will also be released in 2016. (Speaking of Detail: The way he tells it, he is involved in both projects.)
Granted, this Hits Daily Double report comes after Beyonce was rumored to announce her new album at the Grammys. Unfortunately, based on the hype surrounding that and her upcoming Formation World Tour, this latest dispatch will hardly be the last time that industry insiders try to figure Beyonce out.
