Demi Lovato’s “Stone Cold” Video Is Basically Her Version Of ‘The Revenant’: Watch
Demi Lovato has been making headlines in recent days because of her outspoken reactions to Kesha‘s ongoing sexual abuse case against Dr. Luke. But now she brings the music back into focus with the video for “Stone Cold,” the third single off Confident. Lovato trudges through waist-deep snow and scales icy mountains, so the visual is basically the pop star version of The Revenant. Except instead of fighting a bear she wrestles with a breakup. And in the end she draws a warm bath to let out a good cry and wishes her enemies nothing but happiness. OK it’s nothing at all like The Revenant.
Not surprisingly, Lovato says it was the hardest video shoot she’s ever been a part of. Watch the stark visual below.
