Icona Pop Announce "Someone Who Can Dance"
Here's some news to brighten up your day! Icona Pop will return soon with new music.

Icona Pop premiered their new single “Someone Who Can Dance” at the Swedish Grammys tonight (February 24). The ladies were joined by compatriots Zara Larsson and Elliphant for a shadowy performance of the track, which is a return to the fiery electro-pop of break-out hit “I Love It.” After complaining about their boring lives (#relatable, but who still works in a video store?), they turn their focus to night-time activities.

“Give me that bass right up in my face, I want glitter on the floor tonight,” Aino coos before they reach the chorus: “I want someone who can dance, not someone I can talk to.” It sounds a little flat and dated in comparison to the demented pop of 2015 single “Emergency,” but the studio version might be livelier. “Someone Who Can Dance” is the official lead single from Icona Pop’s sophomore/third LP (depending on where you live).
