Skrillex And Diplo Premiere Jack Ü’s “Mind” Video: Watch
Skrillex and Diplo celebrate their one year anniversary as Jack Ü in their “Mind” video, released February 27.
As to be expected from these in-demand producer-DJs, the Liam Underwood-directed clip shows them exploring the world in between festival dates — like the most glamourous travel slideshow possible. They take in Machu Picchu, explore Thailand’s Grand Palace and bring the house down at a Los Angeles Clippers game.
Even more surreal, however, is how Skrillex shares singing duties with rising Toronto singer Kai. Four years ago, Skrillex was the face of nosebleed-inducing dubstep; now as part of Jack Ü, he gets quizzed on how he transformed Justin Bieber‘s voice into this dolphin-like wail, and while seeming positively chill in the process.
