MJ Almost Recorded J.Lo's "If You Had My Love"
Michael Jackson wanted to record Jennifer Lopez's smash hit "If You Had My Love."

Jennifer Lopez is killing it this year. Shades Of Blue, the 46-year-old’s new TV drama, is a ratings winner, while All I Have remains the hottest ticket in Las Vegas. The enduring diva’s latest coup? Signing a multi-album deal with former label Epic Records. The opportunity to work with mentor LA Reid sealed the deal for J.Lo and she will be looking to rebound with a huge hit after the underwhelming response to (actually very good) 2014 LP A.K.A..

And it shouldn’t be too long before Jenny blesses us with new tunes. She teased a new song called “Breaking Me Down” at a Chateau nightclub in September last year and hinted at a collaboration with rapper Missy Elliott on Twitter. The “Booty” hitmaker confirmed the return to Epic on Twitter this afternoon with a simple: “Heading Back Home!!”
