Last fall, Duran Duran put out what we deemed to be “arguably the best damn thing they’ve done since their self-titled 1993 LP” — their latest album Paper Gods — and Idolator had quite a nice chat with Simon Le Bon and Roger Taylor about the making of the LP.

As it turns out, Live Nation have also interviewed the Durans for a nice little five-minute-plus video feature that also includes footage of the legendary pop-rock band in the studio with Grammy-winning producers Mark Ronson and Nile Rodgers, working out the album’s hooks and melodies. (Incidentally, Paper Gods went on to become the band’s first US Top 10 album in 22 years.)

It’s a nice little piece to get fans amped ahead of DD’s upcoming North American tour, which kicks off March 25 in Niagara Falls and wraps August 3 in Glendale, Arizona. Watch above!
