Grimes’ “Kill V. Maim” Gets A Remix That Will Light Your JNCOs On Fire
Grimes‘ Art Angels took the top spot in our list of the best albums of 2015, and “Kill V. Maim” may have been the most radical track on an LP full of unrelenting warped-pop madness. And now it gets a second life thanks to a remix from Little Jimmy Urine.

The song is sugary and serrated, and the Mindless Self Indulgence frontman focused on the latter part: distorted guitars are at the front of the mix, synth screeches and techno breakbeats are thrown in and it even closes out with some record scratches. The result brings to mind that late ’90s moment when industrial metal like Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward and Powerman 5000 were all the rage.
