Is Ariana Grande about to sing the blues?
Last night (March 4) she posted yet another snippet from her upcoming third album Dangerous Woman. But where we’ve come to expect a bumping brass section, or snappy lyrics directed at some boy, this preview instead featured an electric guitar melody and what sounds like Hammond organ chords — a new approach for the singer behind “Problem” and “Break Free.”
“6 days til dangerous woman,” Ariana said on social media, though whether she meant the single or the album is unclear. (In an era where surprise releases reign supreme, you never know.) Regardless, her new music is due out just before she hosts and performs Saturday Night Live on March 12. Hear the snippet below.
