Cher Lloyd Interview
Cher Lloyd talks "Sirens" video, pesky leaks and her sophomore LP.

And she’s back! Cher Lloyd announced that she’s ready to roll out album number three in a personal video message. “Thank you so much for being so patient,” the “Want U Back” hitmaker narrates the black-and-white clip. “It’s been a while, but it’s definitely worth the wait and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.” The 22-year-old has been working with songwriter Jacob Luttrell (Kelly Clarkson, Flo Rida) and possibly Zedd on new tunes.

It represents something of an unexpected revival for the UK X Factor. Cher appeared to have irreparably burned bridges by calling out Epic Records head honcho L.A. Reid on live television and then fell off the pop radar altogether. The fiery pop star has now signed with a new label and will, hopefully, have less trouble getting CL3 (her own abbreviation) released than the vastly underrated Sorry I’m Late, which featured contributions from Max Martin, Shellback and Beth Ditto. Watch her announcement below.
