Hear A New Snippet Of Iggy Azalea’s “Team”
Iggy Azalea returns with “Team” on March 18, and last night she shared a 19-second snippet of that lead single from her sophomore album Digital Distortion. And as we suspected from the first preview she posted a couple months back, it sounds pretty colossal.
The clip starts with Iggy chanting a refrain that seems to flip the whole team concept, and it certainly makes sense in the wake of her polarizing pop status: “Baby I got me / only friend I need / Playing on my team / is someone like me.” Then a clattering trap beat snaps into place and she falls into a staccato flow for the verse.
The song was produced by her frequent collaborators D.R.U.G.S., and a dance-heavy video is in the works. Listen below.
