Madonna Gets Testy With Band On Stage At Tears Of A Clown: Watch

Madonna hauled out some deep cuts during her three-plus-hour Tears Of A Clown show in Melbourne last night (March 10). And by many reports, she also wore her emotions on her billowy orange sleeve.

UK paper Metro reports that Her Madgesty appeared to be drunk on stage at times during the show, which started four (!!) hours late. She also reportedly broke down in tears while singing 2003 American Life track “Intervention,” after dedicating the song to her estranged 15-year-old son Rocco.

Perhaps seeing is believing, though. Above is video of the pop diva performing 2000 Music cut “Paradise (Not For Me)”. Her band gave a few musical cues to begin the song, but Madonna was too busy sipping from various glasses on stage. She then appears to tell someone in her band to “go to the bar right now and pour yourself a nice big glass of go fuck yourself.”

Finally, when M is ready to begin singing, her band actually misses the cue to begin playing, leaving her visibly annoyed. Sigh. It ain’t easy being queen.
