Adam Lambert was one of the first artists to voice support online for Kesha following a February 19 ruling wherein New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich denied a preliminary injunction Kesha had been asking for to begin recording music outside of Dr. Luke and Sony’s Kemosabe Records. And last night the pair spent some time together in Nashville.

“Caught up w KESHA @iiswhoiis last night backstage after my show in Nashville. I missed u darlin!” Lambert posted on Instagram, along with a cute selfie of the pop pals together. Adam is currently in the midst of his Original High Tour, which wraps in North America on April 3 before heading over to Europe.

Kesha and Adam have come quite a long way since being photographed together publicly with Dr. Luke and Max Martin at the 28th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards in 2011.

Luke produced “For Your Entertainment,” the lead single off Lambert’s 2009 debut studio album of the same name, as well as “Better Than I Know Myself” and “Never Close Our Eyes,” the first two singles off the Idol alum’s 2012 follow-up album Trespassing.

How time flies. It’s good to see Kesha smiling.
