Watch the British girl group cover Beyonce, Justin Bieber and, duh, "Hotline Bling" on tour.

Despite the rain, the members of Coldplay were all smiles while performing for TODAY at New York’s Rockefeller Center.

The British rock band performed new single “Hymn for the Weekend,” though without featured artist Beyonce, and “Adventure of a Lifetime.” Those songs are off Coldplay’s seventh album and most recent album A Head Full of Dreams, where the band veers dangerously close into cheesy “Kumbaya” territory.

(To wit, frontman Chris Martin described his Super Bowl 50 set, featuring Beyonce and Bruno Mars, as “just an amazing experience in friendship and togetherness and all that kind of thing.”)

While Coldplay have been mopey plenty of times before, they stuck to the most ubiquitous and sunniest hits from their back catalog, from breakthrough “Yellow” off 2000 debut Parachutes, to Avicii collaboration “A Sky Full of Stars,” off 2014 breakup album Ghost Stories. The band’s TODAY set was the epitome of #mondaymotivation — just check the tweets scrolling on the screen.
