Fresh off his five Grammy wins, and just a week after unloading another number one album, it seems Kendrick Lamar has no intentions of resting on his laurels. Rap’s reigning MVP is already back in the studio recording new music.
The Compton-born rapper’s manager, Dave Free, Snapchatted video of Lamar in a recording studio jamming to an aggressive beat and counting a stack of $2 bills (yes, they still make those). This news comes on the heels of the release of his surprise 8-track demo, untitled unmastered., the now chart-topping leftover scraps from his acclaimed sophomore effort To Pimp A Butterfly.
