Ellie Goulding's "Army" Remixed
Ellie Goulding's latest UK single "Army" gets a bubbly remix from Mike Mago.

Ellie Goulding is currently on the road with the Delirium World Tour, but she performed for a very different audience today (March 14). The 29-year-old covered Sting’s 1993 hit “Fields Of Gold” at Westminster Abbey in London as part of an elaborate Commonwealth Day reception. Guests included Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. Not exactly a casual event!

The “Something In The Way You Move” diva dressed for the occasion, wearing a regal purple jacket with gold detail over black slacks and a white blouse. Ellie looked and sounded serene as she belted out a stripped back version of “Fields Of Gold” with the assistance of two guitarists. She delivered a beautiful interpretation, which reminded me of her take on Elton John’s “Your Song.” Watch the full performance below.
