Ariana Grande’s ‘Dangerous Woman’ Has A Macy Gray Feature
Following a well-received appearance on Saturday Night Live, Ariana Grande has shared some details about an unexpected collab on her forthcoming album Dangerous Woman.
In a radio interview with WKTU, Grande let slip that R&B singer Macy Gray will be featured on a song called “Leave Me Lonely.” She says Gray is one of four features on the LP.
Ariana drew early comparisons to Mariah Carey, but she seems to be channeling Madonna and Janet Jackson in terms of musical reinvention this time around. Her new single, title track “Dangerous Woman,” sees her abandoning her bubblegum pop roots in favor of some sultry R&B. Adding Macy Gray into the mix could further lend her sound some grown-up flavor — not to mention it serves as another return to the spotlight for Gray after her random Fuller House guest spot.
