Is Nick Jonas Releasing A Single Called “Close” Next Week?

According to some corners of the Internet, there’s an impending Nick Jonas single release in the works. Apparently Republic label chief Charlie Walk hinted via Snapchat at a new song titled “Close” and a date of March 25, while adding that it’s “so good.”

This would mark Jonas’ first single since last summer’s “Levels,” which made a splashy debut but disappointingly failed to crack the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Prior to that, Nick’s two singles from his self-titled album, “Jealous” and “Chains,” landed at #7 and #13, respectively.

Jonas himself gave a clue to his new single’s title three weeks ago when he tweeted, “Space is just a word made up by someone who’s afraid to get too…”, and ended by leaving a blank space as a signal to his followers to try and guess the missing word.

Meanwhile, Jonas has also been keeping busy with the acting side of his career. His latest film Goat screened in February at the Berlin International Film Festival, and currently has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
