Even Iggy haters would have to admit the beat for this 'Digital Distortion' single goes.

We know by now that Iggy Azalea had a rough 2015, to where she said she’d Men in Black memory-erase” it if she could. For the first time today (March 18), however, the pop-oriented rapper has admitted to feeling suicidal last year, when she wasn’t releasing music yet still receiving backlash.

“There were times before I just wanted to quit life, really,” Iggy said on Power 106. When host J Cruz asked if she meant her career, she said, “Sometimes I would drive to the canyons to get to my horses and I’d be like, what if I just kept driving off the canyon? Sometimes I would feel like that.”

Iggy says that she felt that way because of work and her personal life. On one hand, she had music industry folks telling her that her career was over. “I live in this country on a work visa, so if I don’t have a job, that means I go home — and my whole life is here,” she said.  She also was going to court, though for reasons she “couldn’t legally talk about.”

Today Iggy also released “Team,” the lead single off her upcoming sophomore album Digital Distortion. While building anticipation, she has slowly opened up about the stakes she faced last year. Iggy confessed to Schön! that she canceled The Great Escape tour not because of her new record as she said before, but due to a “psychotic breakdown.”
