Future’s First New Songs Since The Ciara-Russell Wilson Engagement Sound Appropriately Sinister

When Ciara and Russell Wilson announced their engagement earlier this month, most pop watchers immediately looked forward to hearing how this would affect Future‘s output — not to belittle Ciara or Future’s independent existences, but just because the 18-month hot streak Future is currently experiencing was sparked when he and Ciara broke up after having a child together. The more they sniped about the breakup or the happier she became with her new beau, the more compelling Future’s musical descent became, that’s just the truth.

And now the Atlanta star has previewed the first bit of music from his post-Ciara-engagement headspace, and it sounds like it’ll warrant quite a few flame emoji tweets. Future Snapchatted a couple short snippets, and based on his tweets, they probably involved TM88 and Zaytoven.
