Elle King Belts Out “Ex’s & Oh’s” On Australian TV
After spending the best part of year promoting breakthrough hit “Ex’s & Oh’s” in the States, Elle King is supporting it abroad. She belted out the Grammy-nominated anthem on The Footy Show in Australia last night (March 23) — wowing the audience with a raspy, attitude-filled rendition. The 26-year-old has now carved out a fairly unique niche on the music scene with her rock-chick swagger and palpable pop sensibility.
Elle is hoping to repeat the success of “Ex’s & Oh’s” with new track “America’s Sweetheart,” the second single from debut LP Love Stuff. “You want your second single to be as successful as your first,” she told Idolator earlier this month. “I think I’m anxious to see what happens, because I don’t think that it sounds like ‘Ex’s & Oh’s.’ I also don’t want it to take as long as that one did.” Watch her in action up top.
