FLETCHER came out swinging in 2015 with debut single “War Paint.” The folk-tinged pop song racked up 20 million+ streams in a matter of months and was crowned the most shared song on Spotify. She then cemented her status as One To Watch with “Live Young Die Free.” Produced by Jamie Kenney, the sing-along anthem is an uplifting reminder to take chances and live in the moment. And it just became even more euphoric thanks to Instant Karma.
The Los Angeles-based DJ and artist duo give the track an exhilarating electro-overhaul without diluting FLETCHER’s message. “We were going through some new Spotify playlists looking for some inspirational up-and-coming female artists to jam to, and we came across ‘Live Young Die Free’,” the remixers explain. “We fell in love with her and loved the empowering motive of the song, and couldn’t wait to collaborate to create even more awesome girl power!” Listen below.
