The Black Eyed Peas Return With "Yesterday"
The Black Eyed Peas return to the music scene with "Yesterday," but there's no Fergie.

With Fergie putting the finishing touches on her decade-in-the-making sophomore LP Double Dutchess and will.i.am dropping a new single last week, you be forgiven for thinking that The Black Eyed Peas had been put on ice for good. However, that’s not the case according to the “Scream & Shout” rapper. “There will be a Black Eyed Peas reunion,’ he told Roman Kemp on Capital’s Evening Show. The hitmaker then expressed regret at the group ever going on hiatus.

“It just, it breaks my heart that I even have to say that because really we should just… we should just always have been doing Black Eyed Peas actually,” Will said. “We shouldn’t have ever… [stopped].” Given their solo commitments, a reunion might take a while but it’s comforting to know there will eventually be new music. The idea of the group churning out tracks without all four members is hard to bear.
