Three years removed from the release of his last album, #willpowerBlack Eyed Peas‘ frontman will.i.am is pulling an unconventional power move. In an unusual state of events, the music video for the Nicole Scherzinger-assisted track “Mona Lisa Smile” premiered online today (April 12) — and it lives up to its title.

The visual, directed by Michael Jurkovac, depicts the rapper and former Pussycat Doll embedded into famous works of art inside Paris’ Louvre museum. The odd decision for will.i.am to release a music video three years after an album release comes hours the rapper’s announcement that The Black Eyed Peas are reuniting.
