Is Britney Spears Trying To Lock Down A Nicki Minaj Feature For Her New Album?

New Britney Spears music is right around the corner. Her ninth album is reportedly due in June, and the lead single “Make Me (Oooh)” could drop in a matter of weeks, with Spears filming the video on April 18. But she isn’t quite ready to turn in the final version of B9. According to a Hollywood Life “source,” the star is trying to lock down a feature from Nicki Minaj.

“Britney has reached out to Nicki and has sent her tracks to see if she would like to do a verse or rap on any of her new music,” the site reports. “It is between two or three songs right now that Britney wants Nicki to be on. They just have to mutually select the perfect one for a future single and video.”

Considering Spears has supposedly worked with DJ Mustard as well as “Sorry” hitmakers Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, and landed on some Weeknd vibes, a Nicki collab should fit right in. Better than an Iggy collab, at least.
