Director John Carney‘s (Once, Begin Again) latest film Sing Street may currently only be on a limited number of screens, but it’s already garnered quite a decent amount of buzz and earned an impressive 96% on Rotten Tomatoes — in part because of its fantastic soundtrack. (You can hear it on Spotify now. The physical release comes April 29.)

We recently posted Adam Levine‘s original composition, “Go Now,” from Sing Street, and today Idolator is premiering the video for “Drive It Like You Stole It,” a soundtrack contribution from Adam’s fellow Los Angeleno Hudson Thames.

As for Sing Street, the movie is set in Dublin in the 1980s, and focuses on a 14-year-old boy who attempts to win the object of his affection over by casting her in his fledgling band’s music videos. In addition to the mentioned original cuts, the soundtrack is filled with classic ’80s hits by such acts as Hall & Oates, Joe Jackson, Duran Duran and The Cure.

Catch some clips from Sing Street — plus, of course, Hudson getting his ’80s synth-rock groove on — by watching the “Drive It Like You Stole It” video above.
