Prince's Final Show: Listen
Everyone there would tell you the exact same thing: Prince didn't seem ill that night.

Three pop superstars honored the late Prince during their concerts last night (April 21). These tributes cannot be more different, which feels precisely like a testament to Prince’s impact.

In Paris, Mariah Carey dedicated “One Sweet Day” to her confidante while holding back tears; she was heartbroken. In New York, Jennifer Hudson led the cast of Broadway’s The Color Purple through a fiery gospel rendition of “Purple Rain.” The point was to remember the joy he brought — to “keep him alive today through his song.” And out of respect in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Rihanna dedicated “Diamonds” to him. The backdrop was royal purple instead of sepia. “Let’s shine some light to heaven for Prince right now,” Rihanna said.
