Drake’s Meet & Greet Merch Include Candles, Incense Holders
Drake has something truly special in mind for his upcoming tour. Both he and Summer Sixteen tourmate Future are offering meet-and-greet packages with merch galore. But while Future’s includes a poster, a beanie and a branded double cup, Drake’s includes “one (1) 6 God Candle” and, perhaps even stranger, “one (1) 6 God Incense Holder.” Incense has been used by religions around the world for centuries, though never to pay worship to the 6 God.
Then again, if his past behavior is any indication, perhaps Drake simply wanted an incense holder to truly call his own. “Incense burning, smoking out to my own shit,” he bragged in 2011’s “Free Spirit” featuring Rick Ross. Plus, according to a 2010 tour rider, Drake requested “natural scented incense sticks” along with Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap. We wonder if he’s talking about that sandalwood.
Tickets for the Summer Sixteen tour go on sale April 29, so there is no telling how much Drake’s meet and greets cost yet. In the meantime, revisit “Free Spirit” below.
