Madonna Selects Pia Mia As The New Face Of Her Material Girls Clothing Line

Pia Mia follows in the footsteps of Rita Ora and Zendaya by being named the new face of Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line, which is sold exclusively at Macy’s. Only her involvement goes deeper. The “Do It Again” hitmaker has also been appointed as the label’s first-ever fashion director. She will star in in the ad campaign, help design the Spring 2017 collection (expect bandanas!) and feature in a docu-series.

“Say hello to our new @MaterialGirl Pia Mia!,” Madonna wrote on Instagram, before adding the hashtags, “#UnapologeticBitch” and “#NoBasics.” The pop icon gave a more conservative endorsement in WWD. “Her creativity, confidence and unique sense of style make her a perfect addition to the brand,” she said in a statement. It’s going to be a busy year for the 19-year-old. Pia has a hit on her hands with will.i.am collaboration “Boys & Girls” and is continuing to tease her debut LP with killer buzz tracks like “Underneath.” Take a listen at the bottom of the post.
