Bibi Bourelly arrived with a bang in mid-2015 by penning Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The song was mired in controversy, but it raised the singer/songwriter’s profile immensely and she grasped the opportunity to showcase her own material with both hands. “Ego” gave context to the Berlin-raised artist’s journey, while “Riot” revealed her a personal mantra: “fist up ’til I stop breathing, fist up ’til I stop wheezing.”

When you add extremely good new single “Sally” into the mix, Bibi already had more than enough material for a killer EP. A fact she touched on when we interviewed her. “It’s hard when you don’t drop your music, because I’ve always had this innate desire to be understood and to be accepted for all that I am,” she told Idolator at SXSW. “When you don’t have music out, people don’t really know you.”

That problem is about to be resolved when debut EP Free The Real: Part #1 drops on May 6. See the full tracklist below.

Bibi Bourelly’s Free The Real: Part #1 tracklist:

1. Sally 2. Ego 3. Guitar 4. What If 5. Riot
