Kesha Returns To Pop As The Featured Vocalist On Zedd’s “True Colors”

Kesha will release her first single since 2013 chart-topper “Timber” on Friday (April 29). The pop star, who has been effectively prevented from releasing new music due to multiple lawsuits, features on a new version of Zedd’s “True Colors,” which is the title track of his sophomore LP. The somewhat unlikely duo performed the track at Coachella and then hit the studio together earlier this week. Given the outpouring of support she has received, the collaboration is expected to be massive.

The 29-year-old confirmed that she was working on new material with Zedd via an Instagram post earlier today. “It’s a miracle when someone gives you a chance at finding your voice again with no reason other than that he is a fucking beautiful person with a heart of gold,” Kesha captioned a black-and-white picture of her in the booth.

I can’t wait to hear new music from the original glitter princess and I’m hoping this is a sign that she has come to an arrangement with Kemosabe Records and Sony.
