Amy Grant celebrates the 25th anniversary of her signature song, “Baby Baby,” by releasing a revised version with Tori Kelly. Originally released in 1991 as the lead single from multi-platinum LP Heart In Motion, the sugary sweet anthem helped Amy make the leap from Christian music heavyweight to crossover pop star. The enduring classic spent two weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the 55-year-old three Grammy nominations.

Happily, the duet version of “Baby Baby” stays remarkably true to the original. The production has been dragged up to date and there are a couple of other minor nips and tucks, but it’s absolutely recognizable. “I was thrilled to hear that Tori was on board to record it,” Amy says of the collaboration. “Although I had not met Tori at that point, my 15-year-old daughter, Corrina, is a big fan of Tori’s and so I was very aware of her incredible talent and was honored she would sing this song.” Watch the lyric video up top.
