Two years ago, Prince and Kendrick Lamar shared the stage at a concert held at the Purple One’s Paisley Park estate. Now, footage of this momentous event has been unearthed and posted by The Prince Museum on Facebook.

The visual shows the pair performing the late funk legend‘s Crystal Ball track “What’s My Name” and features a previously-unheard verse from the Compton MC.

The two had worked together on multiple other occasions, even booking studio time for Kendrick’s 2015 album To Pimp A Butterfly. Prince was set to feature on the sultry number “Complexion,” although the collaboration never came to fruition due to time constraints.

“Prince heard the record, loved the record and the concept of the record got us to talking,” Lamar revealed during his interview with Grammy.com. “We got to a point where we were just talking in the studio and the more time that passed we realized we weren’t recording anything. We just ran out of time, it’s as simple as that.”
