Things Nobody Asked For: Train Is Releasing A Led Zeppelin ‘II’ Cover Album

Train, occasional holders of the Worst Band In The World title, are releasing a full-album cover of Led Zeppelin‘s classic 1969 sophomore effort II. Sacrilegious, blasphemous, laughable, shameful, befuddling…none of these words begin to accurately describe how much of a steaming pile of horse shit this idea is.

And that’s before you get to the part where the cheezers responsible for “Hey Soul Sister” and “Meet Virginia” talk about Led Zeppelin being their “favorite” band and one of their “biggest musical inspirations,” or the part where it’s revealed that Zep’s own label gave this abomination the go-ahead. Et tu, Atlantic?

The saddest part is that some day, some sheltered-ass smalltown dipshit will grow up thinking “Whole Lotta Love” has always only featured Pat Monahan‘s door-creak voice and his band’s featherweight Bachelor-viewing-party tones.

Drops of PUKE-ITER.
