Rachel Platten Melts Hearts With New “Better Place” Video: Watch

Rachel Platten just released the video for her third Wildfire single “Better Place,” and this time around, she really intended to melt our hearts to mush. In the clip, Platten invited couples and families to simply look at each other while listening to the song. The result will definitely fill you with butterflies, rainbows and just a general feeling of fuzziness.
In our recent interview with Platten, the “Fight Song” crooner said that the inspiration for her track came when her sister revealed that she’d found her soulmate.
“My sister called me one day and told me that she’s found the person she’s going to marry after years of thinking she was just going to be single forever,” Platten said. “The song just wrote itself after that. I was just looking out, with this beautiful sunlight filtering through the trees, and it just felt like this gift from the sky. It was already written, it just came through me.”
