Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Leads To Sales Surge For Actual Lemonade
Lemonade had a very profitable weekend, and we’re not just talking about the album. Sales of the beverage have soared since the release of Beyoncé‘s film and album of the same name, according to some beverage companies.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Florida juice company exec Natalie Sexton says her company’s sales of lemonade have doubled. “People are drinking lemonade and posting pictures with #Beyoncé,” she told the site. “You can’t drink lemonade these days without thinking of her.“
All this talk of Beyonce album been making me want some actual Lemonade for some time now.

Another soft drink purveyor cites a 20% sales bump, though he wonders if the warmer temps have something to do with it, too.

This isn’t the first time the Queen B has inadvertently upgraded a food company’s financial outlook. Earlier this year, the seafood restaurant chain Red Lobster experienced a surge in sales following its mention in her surprise single “Formation.” The company showed its gratitude by proposing an entree called Cheddar Bey Biscuits.
